Analysis of the glutathione S-transferase (GST) gene expression in an insecticide-resistant strain of using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction is a key step toward more mechanism studies that require suitable reference genes with stable expression. Here, nine commonly used reference genes were selected, and their expression stabilities were analyzed. Results showed that α was the most stable reference gene in all of the experimental sets. The combinations of α and , α and 2, and α and were sufficient for normalization of gene expression analysis accurately in developmental stages, tissues, and larvae exposed to sublethal dose of λ-cyhalothrin, respectively. Additionally, the suitability of particular reference genes was verified by analyzing the spatiotemporal and insecticide-induced expression profiles of , , and , which were overexpressed in a λ-cyhalothrin-resistant population from northeast China. These genes were used to confer the practicability of reference genes chosen in this study.

Aim: Located in the Southwest Indian Ocean area (SIOA), the two French overseas territories (FOTs) of Reunion and Mayotte islands are heavily impacted by antimicrobial resistance. The aim of this study was to investigate all cases of NDM-5 and OXA-181 carbapenemase-producing Escherichia coli (CPEc) in these two FOTs between 2015 and 2020, to better understand the regional spread of these last-line treatment resistant bacteria.
Methods: All E.
Zoonoses are infectious diseases transmitted from animals to humans. Bats have been suggested to harbour more zoonotic viruses than any other mammalian order. Infections in bats are largely asymptomatic, indicating limited tissue-damaging inflammation and immunopathology.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most prevalent form of liver cancer, and ranks among the most lethal malignancies globally, primarily due to its high rates of recurrence and metastasis. Despite the urgency, no reliable biomarkers currently exist for predicting tumor recurrence in HCC. Telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) promoter mutations (TERTpm) and cellular tumor antigen p53 mutations (TP53m) have been frequently documented in HCC, but their combined clinical significance remains undefined.

Ditylenchus destructor, commonly known as the potato rot nematode, is a significant plant-parasitic pathogen affecting over 120 plant species globally. Effective control measures for D. destructor are limited, underscoring the need a high-quality reference genome to understand its pathogenic mechanisms.

Background: Obesity is a rising risk factor for various diseases including cardiovascular diseases and Cancer. The limitations of targeted obesity-treatment approaches employed in the clinic presently underscore the importance of developing integrative management strategies for identification of specific biomarkers of obesity.
Objectives: Given the specificity of exosome/extracellular vesicle (EV) biomarkers, we aimed here to identify the EV biomarkers of Ayurveda treatment - Lekhana Basti - for Obesity.
