Conventional dry machining (without process media) of carbon fibre composite materials (CFRP) produces tiny chips/dust particles that float in the air and cause health hazards to the machining operator. The present study investigates the effect of cutting conditions (cutting speed, feed per tooth and depth of cut) during CFRP milling on the size, shape and amount of harmful dust particles. For the present study, one type of cutting tool (CVD diamond-coated carbide) was used directly for machining CFRP.

Ameloblastomas are benign, locally aggressive, odontogenic epithelial neoplasms. We present a patient with a rare granular cell ameloblastoma. This is a case report and literature review conducted from July 2022 to the present.

Background: The aim of the present study is to determine the possibility of isolation and characterization of the human periodontal ligament stem cells (hPDLSCs) using limited harvested periodontal ligament (PDL) tissue of only one patient's wisdom teeth (2-4 teeth) under the more compatible terms of use in clinical application without using the fetal bovine serum (FBS).
Materials And Methods: In this pilot study, hPDLSCs were isolated from the impacted third molar, and tissue was scraped from the roots of the impacted third molar of 10 volunteers to enzymatically digest using collagenase. The cells were sub-cultured.

Objectives: The endogenous repairing based on the activation of neural stem cells (NSCs) is impaired by neurodegenerative diseases. The present study aims to characterize human stem cells from the apical papilla (hSCAPs) with features of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and to demonstrate the neuronal differentiation of hSCAPs into NSCs through the formation of three-dimensional (3D) neurospheres, verifying the structural, immunophenotyping, self-renewal, gene expression and neuronal activities of these cells to help further improve NSCs transplantation.
Methodology: The hSCAPs were isolated from healthy impacted human third molar teeth and characterized as MSCs.
