Fat embolism is a life-threatening condition that mostly occurs after long bones and pelvis fractures and treatment is controversial with many available drugs. We hereby present a case of 53 years male who developed shortness of breath, tachycardia, fever, anemia, distended jugular vein, thrombocytopenia, hypoalbuminemia and was diagnosed to have fat embolism after fracture of femur, tibia, fibula and pubic rami following road traffic accident. Patient was treated with 20 percent human albumin, N-acetylcysteine, other supportive treatment and discharged after fourteen days. From this we want to emphasize role of human albumin and N-acetylcysteine in treatment of fat. Keywords: fat embolism; human albumin; N-Acetylcysteine.

Minimal change disease (MCD) accounts for 10 - 15% of idiopathic nephrotic syndromes in adults. Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is rarely ascribed as a cause of MCD and was previously associated with interferon-based therapy. MCD in treatment-naïve chronic HCV infection is extremely rare, with only 3 cases reported in the literature.

Gastric cancer (GC) has become a major challenge in oncology research, primarily due to its detection at advanced stages. In this study, we identified and validated the pharmacological mechanisms involved in treating gastric cancer using an integrated approach combining network pharmacology, molecular docking, and a dynamic approach. Gastric cancer-related genes were obtained from DisGeNET, Genecard, and Malacard databases, while potential targets of bioactive compounds were predicted using SwissTargetPrediction.

Background: Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a type of cancer that develops in the biliary tract. CCA accounts for 10% of primary hepatic cancers and is characterized by its aggressive nature and poor prognosis. This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to assess the prognostic value of the novel hepatic function assessment measure known as albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) grade in patients with CCA.

The binding ability of human serum albumin (HSA) on active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) is one of the most important parameters in the early stages of drug discovery. In this study, an immobilized HSA-based tool was developed for the rapid and easy in vitro screening of API binding. The work explored the serious incompleteness in the identification of HSA used for in vitro screening published in the last five years.

This study is to produce biogenic silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) by utilizing aqueous extracts derived from Turnera Sublata (TS) leaves under visible light. Subsequently, these nanoparticles are coated with eosin-yellow (EY) to enhance sensitivity and selectivity in L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-dopa) detection. This method encompasses the deposition of metal onto the Ag NPs, resulting in the formation of EY-AgNPs.
