Background: The doctor-patient relationship is essential for effective patient care, yet medical education often neglects to nurture the quality such as empathy during the initial years of training. Doctor-patient relationship is one of the modules taught in first year as part of mandatory AETCOM (Attitude, Ethics, and Communication) course in the undergraduate Indian medical curriculum. Hermeneutics, a method of interpretation, can play a vital role in introducing observational and reflective thinking skills.

Background: Patients with chronic kidney disease and their families request early and continuous advance care planning. Based on user involvement, an advance care planning intervention was developed to support patients, family members and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in advance care planning conversations in a nephrology outpatient setting.
Objective: To explore the experiences and perceptions of an advance care planning intervention among patients with chronic kidney disease, family members and healthcare professionals.

Methods: Fourteen adults, 65 and older, with diabetes, participated in this study using a participatory, art-based approach involving photovoice and semi-structured interviews. Data underwent hermeneutic phenomenology analysis.

Background: Comprehensive and effective approaches to reviewer development, based on reviewer experience, were not reported in the literature.
Method: The study followed a hermeneutic phenomenological approach.

Several studies consider such methods unethical manipulation that threatens the principles of informed consent and autonomy, which are particularly vital in healthcare. Others argue that nudging respects personal freedom because it is not in conflict with the person's explicit values or choices, beneficial, and easy to resist.
