The pathogenesis of necrotic enteritis (NE) involves complex gene regulation at both the bacterial cell and host tissue levels, yet many aspects remain incompletely understood. This study aims to compare the differential transcriptome of the netB-positive Clostridium perfringens strain, CP54, before and after infection. Differentially expressed genes and pathways were also examined in jejunal tissues from CP54-induced and CP54-Eimeria coinfected NE models to identify potential targets for mitigating NE.

This study investigates the protective effect of ginsenoside Rg1 against manganese (Mn)-induced hepatotoxicity, highlighting its role as a PPAR-γ activator and its impact on TLR4/MyD88/MAPK pathway. Manganese induces liver damage through mechanisms involving oxidative stress and inflammation. Rg1, a principal bioactive compound of ginseng, significantly alleviates Mn-induced liver injury.

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPARγ) is a critical regulator of adipogenesis and bone metabolism, playing complex roles in osteoporosis. This study investigates the effects of taurine and homocysteine on PPARγ, focusing on their roles in osteoclastogenesis and bone health. In-silico analyses, including molecular docking and molecular dynamic simulations, revealed that both taurine and homocysteine bind competitively to the PPARγ ligand-binding domain, exhibiting distinctive antagonistic modes, including destabilization of PPARγ's key helices H3, H4/5, H11, and H12.

Background: Recent data has shown a considerable advancement in understanding the role of lymphotoxin-β receptor (LTβR) in inflammation. However, the functions and underlying mechanisms of LTβR in acute kidney injury (AKI) remain largely unknown.
Methods: AKI was induced in mice by renal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R).

Background: Extensive research has underscored the criticality of preserving diversity and equilibrium within the gut microbiota for optimal human health. However, the precise mechanisms by which the metabolites and targets of the gut microbiota exert their effects remain largely unexplored. This study utilizes a network pharmacology methodology to elucidate the intricate interplay between the microbiota, metabolites, and targets in the context of DM, thereby facilitating a more comprehensive comprehension of this multifaceted disease.
