Background: Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) exhibits a complex microenvironment with diverse cell populations influencing patient prognosis. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) was used to identify prognosis-related cell types, and DNA methylation (DNAm)-based models were developed to predict outcomes based on their cellular characteristics.
Methods: We integrated scRNA-seq, bulk data, and clinical information to identify key cell populations associated with prognosis.

Perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne) is a widely cultivated forage and turf grass species. Salt stress can severely damage the growth of grass plants. The genome-wide molecular mechanisms of salt tolerance have not been well understood in perennial grass species.

Selenium (Se) is incorporated into selenoproteins in the form of selenocysteine, which has biological functions associated with neural development. Unfortunately, the specific roles and mechanisms of selenoproteins at different stages of neuronal development are still unclear. Therefore, in this study, we successfully established a neuronal model derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC-iNeuron) and used Se nanoparticles (SeNPs@LNT) with high bioavailability to intervene at different stages of neural development in iPSC-iNeuron model.

Environmental heavy metal contamination, combined with inappropriate use of fungicides, has led to the co-existence of lead (Pb) and iprodione (IPR), presenting signification risks to ecosystems and human health. The toxic effects resulting from concurrent exposure to Pb and IPR, however, remain poorly understood. In the study, we conducted a comprehensive 60-day subchronic study to investigate the toxic effects on the liver and gut in parental male zebrafish through employing multi-omics analyses.

The pathogenesis of necrotic enteritis (NE) involves complex gene regulation at both the bacterial cell and host tissue levels, yet many aspects remain incompletely understood. This study aims to compare the differential transcriptome of the netB-positive Clostridium perfringens strain, CP54, before and after infection. Differentially expressed genes and pathways were also examined in jejunal tissues from CP54-induced and CP54-Eimeria coinfected NE models to identify potential targets for mitigating NE.
