Studies conducted in river Ererê located in the left margin of Negro River, municipality of Barcelos, state of Amazonas, have confirmed that has as its natural habitat the palm tree . By scanning electron microscopy, sensillum type was studied on the antennae of . The specimens used come from the field and laboratory colony. No differences were observed between and other Triatominae studied. In the antennas, differences were observed only between the antennal segments and in the dorsal and ventral portions. Trichobothria sensilla show a difference with a lamellar base, suggesting that this conformation of the base of the sensilla is a synapomorphic feature of the genus. Another important observation is that, considering that is a specialist, infesting only one type of palm tree, trichoidea sensilla may be involved with plant-derived odorants. The knowledge of such functions could benefit the understanding of the likely biological role of these structures in chemical communication and also provide basic information for future studies of niche recognition, since this species of triatomine is only found in the palm.

The demand for mobile coverage with adequate signal quality has triggered criticism due to the maturity of the Internet's diffusion in today's society. However, with the deployment of 5G networks, even 5G NSA by 4G LTE, the complexity of the operating environment of mobile networks has increased. To evaluate the behavior of mobile networks in terms of signal quality and other important metrics for mobile telephony, we developed a dataset consisting of 33 radio parameters that can collect up to 736,974 records generated daily by smartphones and tablets.

Repeated evolution of novel life histories that are correlated with ecological variables offers opportunities to study convergence in genetic, developmental, and metabolic features. Nearly half of the 800 species of Aplocheiloid killifishes, a clade of teleost fishes with a circumtropical distribution, are "annual" or seasonal species that survive in ephemeral bodies of water that desiccate and are unfeasible for growth, reproduction, or survival for weeks to months every year. But the repeated evolution of adaptations that are key features of the annual life history among these fishes remains poorly known without a robust phylogenetic framework.

Introduction: People with dementia can have many family and friends who might be affected by their deaths. Pursuing the long-term aim of understanding how dementia deaths affect close family and friends, this project lays groundwork through estimates of who those close family and friends are, with special attention to race and ethnicity.
Method: Regression models estimated associations between dementia, race/ethnicity, and close family and friend network size, controlling for age, sex, education, marital status, and household wealth for 1386 deceased people with dementia from the Health and Retirement Study (2004 to 2018).

The Northern Patagonia coast, characterized by an intricate interaction among terrestrial and marine systems such as Reloncaví Estuarine System (RES), present highly productive marine and aquaculture activities, having a significant socio-economic importance in Chile. Understanding the composition of Organic Matter (OM) in aquatic ecosystems is crucial for elucidating biogeochemical processes, and the use of lipid biomarkers, has proven valuable in identifying OM sources. This study investigates the relationship between phytoplankton biomass indicators, including phytoplankton abundance, chlorophyll-a, and sterol molecules synthesized in high percentages by phytoplankton cells, also known as phytoplankton-derived sterols at the RES.
