Waterlogging stress is a serious problem all over the world, which inhibits plant growth and development, and even leads to plant death in severe circumstances. Ethylene-responsive VII transcription factor (ERFVII) is a key factor regulating plant waterlogging tolerance. In this study, a major QTL conferring chlorophyll content under waterlogging stress was detected on chromosome 4H through GWAS using a natural population.

Ultrasound molecular imaging is an innovative imaging modality that combines ultrasound with molecular probes to observe live biological processes at the cellular and molecular levels. C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4) is a specific target in liver tumors and plays a crucial role in promoting tumor growth, invasion, metastasis, and angiogenesis. This study pioneered the use of CXCR4-targeted ultrasound molecular imaging for visualized antitumor therapy and investigated the potential of CXCR4-targeted microbubbles (MBs) in sensitizing liver tumor treatment.

Hypoimmunogenic universal induced pluripotent stemn (iPS) cells were generated through the targeted disruption of key genes, including human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-A, HLA-B and HLA-DR alpha (DRA), using the CRISPR-Cas9 system. This approach aimed to minimize immune recognition and enhance the potential of iPS cells for allogeneic therapy. Heterozygous iPS cells were used for guide RNA design and validation to facilitate the knockout (KO) of the HLA-A, HLA-B and HLA-DRA genes.
