A taxonomic checklist of sublittoral tanaidaceans from the north coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, southern Gulf of Mexico, is presented in this study; it includes notes on geographic distribution, habitat, and an identification key. The genus Cacoheterotanais and the species Cacoheterotanais rogerbamberi, Mesokalliapseudes macsweenyi, Pagurotanais largoensis, Parakonarus juliae, and Psammokalliapseudes granulosus have their known distribution range within the Gulf of Mexico expanded, and are considered new records; this increases the number of tanaidacean species to 23 for the southeastern Gulf, and to 87 for the entire Gulf of Mexico.

Sea anemones play a crucial role in marine ecosystems. Recent studies have highlighted their physiological and ecological responses to thermal stress. Therefore, our objective was to perform a proteomic analysis of sea anemones in the Gulf of Mexico, subjected to thermal stress, to understand whether these organisms activate specific processes to resist increased temperature.

Zooplanktonic copepods represent a major biological mass in the marine food chain that can be affected by climate change. Monitoring the health of this critical biomass is essential for increasing our understanding of the impact of environmental changes on marine environments. Since the lipidomes of marine organisms are known to adapt to alterations in pH, temperature, and availability of metabolic precursors, lipidomics is one technology that can be used for monitoring copepod adaptations.

Background: Ligophorus Euzet and Suriano, 1977 is a specious genus of ancyrocephalid monogeneans parasitizing mullets around the world, with most species distributed in the western Pacific and the Mediterranean Sea. Only nine out of the 62 species in the genus have been reported from the Americas, and from them, only two have been sequenced.
Methods: We analyzed two species of Mugil (L.

Purpose: This study investigated 1) the frequency of quotation errors in multi-authored medical manuscripts in andrology, 2) analyzed common types of quotation errors and the methods used to rectify them, and 3) evaluated their impact on manuscript accuracy, credibility, and research conclusions.
Materials And Methods: Twelve manuscripts written by the Global Andrology Forum (GAF) members between 2023 and 2024 were randomly selected for this study. The manuscripts and "Quotation Verification Sheets" were analyzed by senior GAF researchers to detect the number and types of quotation errors.
A species' distribution depends on its tolerance to environmental conditions. These conditions are defined by a minimum, maximum, and optimal ranges of single and combined factors. Forays into environmental conditions outside the minimum or maximum tolerance of a species (i.
