We incorrectly cited a maximum acceleration sensitivity of the rigidly-mounted cavity of 2.5 × 10 1/(m s). The correct coupling factor is a factor of 100 smaller: 2.5 × 10 1/(m s).

Background: Long-term controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) in intensive care unit (ICU) induces ventilatory-induced-diaphragm-dysfunction (VIDD). The transition from CMV to assisted mechanical ventilation is a challenge that requires clinicians to balance over-assistance and under-assistance. While the effects of over-assistance on the diaphragm are well known, we aimed to assess the impact of under-assistance on diaphragm function and structure in piglet model with pre-existing VIDD (after long-term CMV) or without VIDD (short-term CMV).

Organic photodetectors (OPDs) are key devices for monitoring vital signs, such as heart rate and blood oxygen level. For realizing the long-term measurement of biosignals, stable operation is essential. To improve the stability of OPDs, it is important to analyze each layer to understand the degradation mechanism.

The carbon sink function performed by the different vegetation types along the environmental gradient in coastal zones plays a vital role in mitigating climate change. However, inadequate understanding of its spatiotemporal variations across different vegetation types and associated regulatory mechanisms hampers determining its potential shifts in a changing climate. Here, we present long-term (2011-2022) eddy covariance measurements of the net ecosystem exchange (NEE) of CO at three sites with different vegetation types (tidal wetland, nontidal wetland, and cropland) in a coastal zone to examine the role of vegetation type on annual carbon sink strength.

Objectives: This study investigates repeated oral esketamine as a substitution strategy for maintenance electroconvulsive therapy (M-ECT) in eight patients with treatment-resistant depression (TRD).
Methods: In a 6-week dosing phase, esketamine was titrated from 0.5 or 1.

Objectives: The objective of the investigation is to examine the long term efficacy, safety, and predictability of ICL-V4c implantation for high and super-high myopic patients in order to provide reliable guidance for the selection of refractive surgical procedures.
Methods: We reviewed 125 eyes from 64 patients who implanted ICL-V4c at the Refractive Surgery Center of West China Hospital in Chengdu, China, between May 2015 and January 2017. These eyes were divided into two groups based on their preoperative spherical equivalent (SE) degree: high myopia (≥ -10D) and super-high myopia groups (< -10D).
