Background: World Health Organization Grade 2 meningiomas (G2Ms) often recur and resist therapies. G2Ms with histopathological necrosis have been associated with worse local control (LC) following radiation therapy, but the drivers and biomarkers of radiation resistance in G2Ms remain unknown.
Methods: We performed genetic sequencing and histopathological analysis of 113 G2Ms and investigated the role of genetic and microenvironmental factors on clonogenic survival following ionizing radiation.

Objective: The goal of this study was to develop a nomogram that integrates clinical data to predict the likelihood of severe postoperative peritumoral brain edema (PTBE) following the surgical removal of intracranial meningioma.
Method: We included 152 patients diagnosed with meningioma who were admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery at the Affiliated People's Hospital of Jiangsu University between January 2016 and March 2023. Clinical characteristics were collected from the hospital's medical record system.

Spinal extramedullary tumors are the most common types of schwannomas and meningiomas. Therefore, most spinal cord surgeons should safely perform surgeries for these tumors. The posterior approach with conventional laminectomy is sufficient for the safe resection of almost all spinal extramedullary tumors.

In this research, the authors provide a retrospective cohort study of 82 patients with suprasellar meningiomas to identify predictors of the visual outcome following surgery. We also conducted a matched retrospective case-control analysis. This retrospective cohort study included all patients who underwent craniotomy for surgical excision of suprasellar meningiomas at our institution between January 2016 and March 2022.

Primary extracranial meningiomas (PEMs) of the sinonasal tract with no intracranial extension are rare. Our study presents the largest systematic review to date, providing a comprehensive overview and comparison of the characteristics, treatment, and prognosis of PEMs, with comparison to primary intracranial meningiomas (PIMs). A systematic review was conducted according to the PRISMA guidelines on PubMed, Embase, and Google Scholar up to November 1, 2022.
