We report multiple magnetic phase transitions and critical behavior of the 2D charge-density wave compound TbTe studied by μSR measurements and dc magnetization measurements. Zero-field μSR has shown three magnetic transitions below 7 K. The longitudinal field measurements under 50 G has confirmed the first transition at T = 6.3 K. Scaling analysis from above T gives the critical exponent w = 0.63(5), suggesting the Ising 3D antiferromagnetic nature of the ordering, which is likely mediated by the 2D correlations. However, the obtained w = 0.81(5) below T indicates the ferromagnetic phase, which arises over the multiphase transitions at lower temperatures. Temperature-dependent transverse frequency shift gives a relatively smaller exponent γ = 1.0(1) than the Ising 3D model. The different transitions were also observed by dc magnetization measurements, suggesting two magnetic transitions at 7.4 K and 3.1 K, which correspond to the antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic phases respectively.

This review comprehensively explores the critical role of calcium as an essential small-molecule biomessenger in skeletal muscle function. Calcium is vital for both regulating muscle excitation-contraction coupling and for the development, maintenance, and regeneration of muscle cells. The orchestrated release of calcium from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is mediated by receptors such as the ryanodine receptor (RYR) and inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor (IP3R), which is crucial for skeletal muscle contraction.

Background: In Egypt, approximately 10% of preterm deliveries occur between 32 and fewer than 37 weeks, leading to high neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) admissions. Preterm infants often face oral feeding difficulties due to immature development, which can lead to extended hospital stays and increased health risks.
Aim: To assess neonatal nurses' performance in terms of the transition to oral feeding in preterm infants, focusing on knowledge, practices, and attitudes.

Liver fibrosis is a critical liver disease that can progress to more severe manifestations, such as cirrhosis, yet no effective targeted therapies are available. Here, we identify that ATF4, a master transcription factor in ER stress response, promotes liver fibrosis by facilitating a stress response-independent epigenetic program in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs). Unlike its canonical role in regulating UPR genes during ER stress, ATF4 activates epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) gene transcription under fibrogenic conditions.

The superconducting diode effect (SDE) is defined by the difference in the magnitude of critical currents applied in opposite directions. It has been observed in various superconducting systems and attracted high research interests. However, the operating temperature of the SDE is typically low and/or the sample structure is rather complex.

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of mandibular setback surgery exceeding 5 mm on upper airway and sleep quality in skeletal Class III patients, with comparisons to Class I controls. Sixteen individuals per group were selected based on their ANB angle and surgical need. 2D and 3D airway analyses were conducted.
