Objective: To gain a deeper insight into the local anatomic structures of the seminal vesicle and ejaculatory duct and provide some anatomic guidance in seminal vesiculoscopy.
Methods: We analyzed the clinical data on 48 cases of seminal vesiculoscopy and recorded the surgical approaches to the seminal vesicle and clinical effects after operation. At the same time, we made an anatomic study of the seminal vesicle, ejaculatory duct and prostatic utricle and simulated the surgical approaches in 12 adult pelvis specimens.
Results: The anatomical results accorded well with the surgical findings. The ejaculatory ducts failed to be revealed for 52.1%(25/48), but 93.8%(45/48) of the operations were completed through different approaches into the seminal vesicle.
Conclusions: Transurethral seminal vesiculoscopy can be applied in the treatment of seminal tract and seminal vesicle diseases, but has its obvious limitations and has to be used with other strategies to achieve better results.

Background: Intraductal carcinoma of the prostate cancer (IDC-P), as a specific pathological type in prostate cancer which usually implies a poor prognosis. IDC-P morphology can be divided into two subtypes: Pattern 1, sieve like or loose cribriform structures; Pattern 2, solid or dense cribriform structures. The purpose of the study is to identify the impact of IDC-P and its subtypes on the prognosis of patients undergoing post-operative radiotherapy (PORT) after radical prostatectomy (RP) due to localized prostate cancer(PCa).

We report here a rare case of a concurrent occurrence of abscesses caused by in the prostate, seminal vesicles, and epididymis. A 71-year-old male presented to our hospital with urinary retention, and an indwelling urethral catheter was inserted. He remained afebrile until a revisit one month later when he developed a fever and left scrotal swelling.

Background And Purpose: A novel ring-gantry cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging system shows improved image quality compared to its conventional version, but its effect on autosegmentation is unknown. This study evaluates the impact of this high-performance CBCT on autosegmentation performance, inter-observer variability, contour correction times and delineation confidence, compared to the conventional CBCT.
Materials And Methods: Twenty prostate cancer patients were enrolled in this prospective clinical study.

Schwannomas are benign tumors originating from Schwann cells, with seminal vesicle schwannomas being exceedingly rare. This report describes a 54-year-old man with an incidental discovery of a right-sided seminal vesicle mass during a routine ultrasound examination. Further imaging, including MRI and contrast-enhanced CT scans, revealed a well-defined, encapsulated mass with heterogeneous signal intensity suggestive of schwannoma.

Background/objectives: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is one of the most common chronic diseases affecting the urinary tract that occurs mainly in men over 40 years of age. Among the natural therapies, proanthocyanidins (PACs), which can treat a wide range of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs), have been shown to play an important role in the treatment of pathologies concerning prostate health. In this regard, the present study aimed to evaluate the different bioactivities of a grape seed extract (GSE), rich in polymeric PACs, and its version processed under alkaline conditions (ATGSE), characterized by a higher content of oligomeric PACs, in an animal model of BPH induced by subcutaneous injection of testosterone (1 mg/mouse).
