Purpose: To investigate the predictive value of MRI-based radiomics models for the recovery of visual acuity after 12 months in patients with acute phase MOG-optic neuritis(MOG-ON).
Materials And Methods: Clinical and MRI imaging data were collected consecutively from January 2021 to April 2022 from patients with acute stage MOG-ON, and the visual acuity of patients were followed up after 12 months. After stratified random sampling, patients were divided into training and test sets, and prediction models based on CE-T1WI, FS-T2WI, and combined CE-T1WI and FS-T2WI were developed.

This study investigates the photoinduction techniques for the maximization of astaxanthin production in Chromochloris zofingiensis following heterotrophic growth. Leveraging blue light, this study enhanced carbon allocation by suppressing the tricarboxylic acid cycle and activating the methylerythritol phosphate and pentose phosphate pathways to facilitate astaxanthin accumulation. Under blue light, an astaxanthin content of 5.

In the era of global warming, the conversion of carbon dioxide into high-value products has become a widely scrutinized emerging mitigation strategy. Metalation of bpy-containing MOF-253 led to the synthesis of MOF-253-0.5Ag, which acts as an efficient catalyst for the carbonylative cyclization of CO with alkyne molecules (such as propynyl alcohols and propynyl amines) at room temperature and ambient CO pressure, yielding the corresponding α-alkyl cyclic carbonates and oxazolidinones, thus endowing the catalytic system with bifunctional characteristics.

Orally administered sorafenib has shown limited improvement in overall survival for non-small-cell lung cancer patients, likely due to poor pharmacokinetics and adverse effects, including gastrointestinal toxicity. To address these issues, we developed silica-containing antioxidant nanoparticles (siRNP) as a carrier to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of lipophilic sorafenib. Sorafenib was loaded into siRNP via dialysis (sora@siRNP).

Recycling end-of-life wind turbines poses a significant challenge due to the increasing number of turbines going out of use. After many years of operation, turbines lose their functional properties, generating a substantial amount of composite waste that requires efficient and environmentally friendly processing methods. Wind turbine blades, in particular, are a problematic component in the recycling process due to their complex material composition.
