The purpose of the present report is to illustrate a proof-of-concept protocol with the double digital scanning (DDS) technique for complete digital workflow in double full-arch implant rehabilitation. Two patients (4 restored arches) presented with hopeless dentitions and they were treated with a 4-appointment prosthodontic protocol and monolithic zirconia prostheses implementing a complete digital workflow. The outcomes are presented after clinical and radiographic observation for 2 years.

Clinical Considerations: Conventional facebow records are used to transfer the maxillary cast into the analog articulator. Different reference planes have been described, including the true horizontal or gravity reference plane. A conventional facebow (Kois Dentofacial Analyzer; Panadent) allows the recording of the gravity plane for transferring the maxillary cast into the analog semi-adjustable articulator.

Purpose: This retrospective cohort study evaluated the accuracy of analog versus virtual wax-ups in prosthetic-driven planning and guided surgery.
Methods: There were 73 patients with a single missing posterior tooth who underwent either an analog or virtual wax-up design following a prosthetic-driven concept. Intraoral scans of the final restoration were performed 1 year after completion of the restoration.

Purpose: During endovascular revascularization interventions for peripheral arterial disease, the standard modality of X-ray fluoroscopy (XRF) used for image guidance is limited in visualizing distal segments of infrapopliteal vessels. To enhance visualization of arteries, an image registration technique was developed to align pre-acquired computed tomography (CT) angiography images and to create fusion images highlighting arteries of interest.
Methods: X-ray image metadata capturing the position of the X-ray gantry initializes a multiscale iterative optimization process, which uses a local-variance masked normalized cross-correlation loss to rigidly align a digitally reconstructed radiograph (DRR) of the CT dataset with the target X-ray, using the edges of the fibula and tibia as the basis for alignment.

As in general pathology, digitalization is also inexorably making its way into dermatopathology. This article examines the current state of digitalization in German dermatopathology laboratories based on the authors' own experiences, the current study situation, and a survey of members of the Dermatological Histology Working Group (ADH). Experiences with the establishment of a digital laboratory workflow, artificial intelligence (AI)-based assistance systems, and whole slide images (WSI)-based training programs are discussed.

Objective: Somatic variants causing epilepsy are challenging to detect, as they are only present in a subset of brain cells (e.g., mosaic), resulting in low variant allele frequencies.
