Workplace violence is highly prevalent for nurses, often going unreported. Regrettably, the very patients and visitors being cared for often perpetrate the majority of violence. This article's purpose is to describe how an institution implemented a workplace violence prevention training program designed to increase nurses' perception and confidence with aggressive and violent events. Evaluation of this quality improvement program posttraining was positive, suggesting this approach may influence nurses' abilities to prevent and manage these events.

An individual's protected characteristics (age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation) may contribute to health inequalities. Aim: This survey explored nurse leaders' impressions of burnout on college/school of nursing (CON/SON) administrative staff and leadership-facilitated strategies used to promote resilience building/mitigate burnout.
Background: Administrative staff are foundational to the success of a university's CON/SON, yet few studies have explored the impact of burnout in this group.
Method: Cross-sectional survey distributed to associate dean and business officer attendees of the 2022 American Association of Colleges of Nursing, Business Officers of Nursing Schools meeting (summer 2022) (n = 64).
Introduction: This paper developed and used practice vignettes to understand sexual assault nurse examiners' perceptions of self-confidence to provide care for Black, Indigenous, and transgender sexual violence survivors. Sexual assault nurse examiners are uniquely positioned to provide patient-centered postsexual violence health care but not all sexual assault nurse examiners receive culturally specific and identity-affirming training. Black/African American, Indigenous, and/or transgender people disproportionately experience sexual violence but may receive poorer health care after sexual violence compared with white cisgender people.
