Malignancies of extragenital origin very rarely metastasize to the uterine body. Endometrium-limited metastases may pose diagnostic challenges in endometrial curettage specimens as they may be misdiagnosed as primary endometrial tumors. We investigated the clinicopathological characteristics of seven cases with endometrial-limited metastases from carcinomas of the nasopharynx ( = 1), breast ( = 2), colon ( = 2), stomach ( = 1), and appendix ( = 1). The patients' ages ranged from 36 to 71 (mean: 55.4) years. None of the patients had a remarkable gynecological history, and the presenting sign in all cases was abnormal uterine bleeding. Although myometrial involvement was absent, multiple metastases were already present in extrauterine locations such as the lung, liver, bone, abdominopelvic peritoneum, and omentum. All patients underwent ultrasonographic examination prior to endometrial curettage. The histologies of the endometrial metastases identified from the curettage specimens were identical to those of the corresponding primary tumors. Ancillary tests including immunostaining and Epstein-Barr virus-encoded RNA in situ hybridization confirmed the extragenital origin. Endometrium-limited metastases from extragenital malignancies are extremely rare. They present with abnormal vaginal bleeding and mimic endometrial carcinomas of endometrioid or poorly differentiated types. Since their clinical presentations and histological features are similar to those of primary endometrial tumors, pathologists should consider the possibility of metastases while evaluating endometrial curettage specimens obtained from patients with a history of extragenital malignancies.

Introduction: Current trends of delaying childbearing and the increasing incidence of endometrial cancer in nulliparous woman necessitate research and development of fertility sparing treatments. Hormonal therapy with progestins offers an alternative to surgical treatment for a select group of patients of reproductive-age, who wish to preserve their reproductive potential.
Materials And Methods: The study evaluates the effectiveness of medroxyprogesterone acetate therapy in patients with early-stage endometrial cancer, atypical endometrial hyperplasia or atypical polypoid adenomyoma, seeking to preserve fertility.

Objective Endometrial lesions are a frequent complication following breast cancer, and current diagnostic tools have limitations. This study aims to develop a machine learning-based nomogram model for predicting the early detection of endometrial lesions in patients. The model is designed to assess risk and facilitate individualized treatment strategies for premenopausal breast cancer patients.

Objective: To describe a patient conceiving with fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET) after conservative treatment of early stage endometrial cancer.
Patient: A 31-year-old multiparous woman diagnosed with highly-differentiated (G1) endometrial adenocarcinoma (grade IA).
Interventions: After four courses of conservative treatment each followed by hysteroscopic biopsy and endometrial curettage, assisted reproductive technology was performed.

Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of gelatin/polycaprolactone (GT/PCL) membranes for restoring endometrial structure and function and fertility in a rat model of endometrial injury.
Methods: We randomized 125 female Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats to the sham, natural repair (NR), estrogen (E), GT/PCL, and E-GT/PCL groups. Except for the sham group, all rats underwent uterine curettage.

The aim of this study is to present a panel that includes the main bacterial genera associated with endometritis. We conducted a search using the terms "endometritis women" OR "female endometritis" OR "pelvic inflammatory disease" AND bacteria* OR "uterine microbiome" in two databases: PubMed and Web of Science, without language or publication year restrictions. The panel is based on an analysis of 40 studies published over the past 38 years.
