Background: Fibrofolliculoma is a benign, perifollicular, connective tissue tumor, and it usually arises in the form of multiple lesions, but rarely as a solitary lesion. We report a case of solitary fibrofolliculoma on the eyelid.
Case Presentation: A 68-year-old female presented with an asymptomatic mass on the right upper eyelid. The lesion appeared as a flesh-colored, dome-shaped, smooth nodule being the size of 5 × 5 × 4 mm, with eyelashes protruding from the surface, and located on the upper lid margin. Shave excision was performed, and the diagnosis of fibrofolliculoma was confirmed finally through histological exam.
Conclusions: Solitary fibrofolliculomas rarely arises on the eyelid. However, it should be suspected when a flesh-colored and doom-shaped lesion of the eyelid is encountered. The benign tumor on the lid margin can be removed by shave biopsy.

Fibrofolliculomas are benign connective tissue tumours of the hair follicle that typically present as multiple lesions over the head and neck. A solitary fibrofolliculoma is a rare entity and has not been previously described in the canthal region. The authors report an unusual case of a 43-year-old female who was found to have a solitary fibrofolliculoma located in close proximity to the medial canthus following an excision biopsy.

Fibrofolliculoma is a benign, perifollicular, connective tissue tumor that usually arises in the form of multiple lesions; it is rarely seen as a solitary lesion. The lesions are clinically asymptomatic, 2 to 4 mm skin-colored, soft dome-shaped papules. Here, we report a patient who visited our hospital with a palpable lesion on the nasal septum.

Folliculosebaceous cystic hamartoma (FSCH) is a benign lesion that presents as a solitary papule or nodule that typically affects the face and scalp of adults. A few reports have observed a congenital presentation. We present an infant boy exhibiting a tumor with overlap features between an FSCH and fibrofolliculoma in the perianal region that was first noticed at 6 months of age.

Fibrofolliculoma is a benign tumor characterized by a smooth, dome-shaped papule of size 2-4 mm. Most fibrofolliculomas occur as multiple lesions, and very rarely, they are solitary. Herein, we report a case of solitary fibrofolliculoma found in the alar rim, without the typical characteristics of a fibrofolliculoma.
