Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the clinical impact of main tumor resection on long-term survival compared with pleural biopsy alone in patients with lung adenocarcinoma who were intraoperatively diagnosed with pleural metastasis.
Materials And Methods: A total of 176 patients with adenocarcinoma who had unexpected pleural metastasis detected during surgery from 2002 to 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. Each surgeon decided whether to perform main tumor resection or pleural biopsy alone.

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the imaging findings of the chest flat panel detector computed tomography (FDCT) among coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) positive patients during urgent/emergent interventional neuroradiologic procedures.
Materials And Methods: Chest FDCT examinations were performed using a C-arm mounted FDCT within the interventional radiology (IR) suite if the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) results were pending in patients with clinical findings suggestive of COVID-19. In those who already had positive RT-PCR results, FDCT was performed for acute evaluation only if an acute unexpected cardiopulmonary event occurred during the procedure.

Background: The prognosis of patients with lung cancer and malignant pleural effusion (MPE) caused by carcinomatous pleurisy is poor. Chemical pleurodesis is commonly performed clinically, however, often has a high failure rate. Furthermore, prolonged sustained drainage and delayed introduction of systemic chemotherapy could increase the risk of worsening the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Performance Status (ECOG PS) in the treatment of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Introduction: Glomangioma is an uncommon hypervascular tumor typically found in the extremities, with primary occurrences in the mediastinum being exceedingly rare.
Case Presentation: A 38-year-old male presented to our cardio-thoracic surgery department with chest pain. Chest computed tomography (CT) revealed a 45 mm posterior paravertebral right solidocystic mass, a finding confirmed by Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with a solidocystic mass in the posterior paravertebral right pleura suggesting a fibrous tumor exhibiting cystic degeneration.
