A new flavonoid named saniculamin C (), together with six known compounds (), were isolated from the whole plants of Hance. The chemical structures were elucidated by spectroscopic and physico-chemical analyses. All isolates were evaluated for cytotoxic activities against four human cancer cell lines, HepG2, SGC-7901 gastric cancer, Hela and A-549 lung cancer. Compound showed potent antiproliferative activities against SGC-7901 cells with IC value of 7.45 μM. In addition, compound exhibited weak antiproliferative activities against HepG2, SGC-7901, Hela cancer cells with IC values of 10.43, 8.24 and 15.32 μM, respectively.[Formula: see text].

In this work, a near-infrared hepatocyte-targeting fluorescence probe TCF-Gal-Cys was developed. The TCF-Gal-Cys exhibited a low detection limit, good sensitivity and selectivity toward Cys. The responsive mechanism of TCF-Gal-Cys was proposed that the acrylate of TCF-Gal-Cys was subsequently attacked by the thiol group and the amino group of Cys, releasing a strong near-infrared fluorescent group.

Eleven undescribed isoquinoline alkaloids (1-8, 14, 15, and 24), along with 19 analogues (9-13, 16-23, and 25-30) were isolated from the barks of Alangium salviifolium. The structures of the undescribed compounds were elucidated through the analysis of their HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR, IR, UV, and X-ray diffraction. The absolute configuration of 8 was established via the ECD calculation.

Herein, we synthesized and characterized two novel iridium (III) complexes: [Ir(bzq)(PPD)](PF) (4a, with bzq = deprotonated benzo[h]quinoline and PPD = pteridino[6,7-f][1,10]phenanthroline-11,13-diamine) and [Ir(piq)(PPD)](PF) (4b, with piq = deprotonated 1-phenylisoquinoline). The anticancer efficacy of these complexes, 4a and 4b, was investigated using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazole)-2,5-diphenltetraazolium bromide (MTT). Complex 4a exhibited no cytotoxic activity, while 4b demonstrated moderate efficacy against SGC-7901, A549, and HepG2 cancer cells.

Cordycepin has good antitumor activity, but its clinical application is limited due to the easy deamination of N6 in structure. In this study, a large lipolysis group was introduced at the cordycepin N6 to improve the problem, cordycepin derivatives (-) were synthesized, and biological evaluation of compounds was studied. In this study, the vitro antitumor activity of the compounds against MCF7 cells, HepG2 cells and SGC-7901 cells was evaluated by MTT assay.
