The expression of the transient receptor potential 1 (TRPA1) gene is increased in many solid tumours, and its function relates to inflammation, oxidative stress or the presence of toxic substances. However, little is known about the correlation of clinical parameters with patients' cancer stages, metastases and the degree of tumour infiltration by immune cells. We performed a bioinformatic analysis, using databases and public resources to investigate TRPA1 for many available samples.

Opsin plays a regulatory role in phototaxis of , functioning as the initial station in the phototransduction cascade. Our study aimed to explore the phototransduction pathway to identify elicitors that may enhance phototaxis in the future. The RNAi technique was employed to inhibit gene expression, followed by RNA-Seq analysis to identify phototransduction genes.

The successful application of CAR-T cells in the treatment of hematologic malignancies has fundamentally changed cancer therapy. With increasing numbers of registered CAR-T cell clinical trials, efforts are being made to streamline and reduce the costs of CAR-T cell manufacturing while improving their safety. To date, all approved CAR-T cell products have relied on viral-based gene delivery and genomic integration methods.

Prenatal hypoxia, often accompanied by maternal glucocorticoid stress, can predispose offspring to neurological disorders in adulthood. If placental ischemia (PI) primarily reduces fetal oxygen supply, the maternal hypoxia (MH) model also elicits a pronounced fetal glucocorticoid exposure. Here, we compared MH and PI in rats to distinguish their unique and overlapping effects on embryonic and newborn brain development.

: Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a complex inflammatory condition of the nasal passages that severely impairs quality of life. Type 2 CRS is characterized by eosinophilic inflammation, driven by cytokines like IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13. These cytokines are key to CRS pathogenesis and contribute to a heavy disease burden, especially with comorbidities.
