This study explores the transformative potential of sustainable pork production and processing as a tool to empower tribal women in the northeast region (NER) of India. The NER is faced with multiple challenges, such as poverty, gender inequality, and poor livelihood methods. Therefore, enhancing sustainable production and processing methods for pork, which is their staple food, presents not only an opportunity for the socio-economic development of the region but also an effective tool for the economic empowerment of tribal women.

This article is about a virtue ethical approach to the professional ethics of teaching, centred around the ideal of (practical wisdom) in an Aristotelian sense. It is grounded empirically in extensive research conducted at the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues into teachers and other UK professionals, and it is grounded theoretically in recent efforts to revive an Aristotelian concept of as excellence in ethical decision-making. The article argues for the need for a virtue-based approach to professional practice, based on time-honoured Aristotelian assumptions and culminating in a conceptually viable construct of as a psycho-moral integrator and adjudicator.

Bedside manufacturing is having a revival in healthcare, with a promise to revolutionize personalized medicine through on-site drug production. While this concept holds considerable promise, it also encounters a complex web of legal uncertainties. The current regulatory framework in Switzerland and the EU, which includes the Swiss Therapeutic Products Act and the EU directives, regulations, and guidelines, fails to adequately address its distinct challenges.
