A new genus of the spider family Deinopidae C.L. Koch, 1850 is described from Asia: Lin & Li , with Lin & Li as the type species. The new genus is divided into two species groups, of which the -group includes two species: (Merian, 1911) (♀) and (Yin, Griswold & Yan, 2002) (♂♀); and the -group comprises five species: (Merian, 1911) (♂), (Logunov, 2018) (♂), Lin & Li (♂♀), Lin & Li (♂♀), and Lin & Li All previously described species are transferred from MacLeay, 1839.
