Background: Accurate blood pressure monitoring is essential in many clinical scenarios for adults and children and, when continuous measurement is critical, necessitates the insertion of an arterial line. A novel continuous non-invasive arterial pressure monitoring device using a pulse contour algorithm (Pulse Decomposition Analysis), Vitalstream™, is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for use in adults. In this study the performance and accuracy of the device compared to intraarterial blood pressure monitoring were assessed in children ages 2-17 undergoing major surgeries.

Introduction: Insight in psychosis, defined as a patient's awareness and judgment of their mental illness, is a complex and evolving concept. Historically, the absence of insight was considered a defining characteristic of psychosis, but recent decades have seen the development of structured tools for its assessment. This systematic review aims to critically appraise the measurement properties of instruments used to assess insight in individuals with schizophrenia spectrum, bridging the gap between theoretical conceptualization and clinical practice.

Purpose: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) affects up to 936 million adults globally and is linked to significant health risks, including neurocognitive impairment, cardiovascular diseases, and metabolic conditions. The purpose of this network meta-analysis (NMA) is to compare the effect of different non-pharmacological interventions (NPIs) on Problematic Internet Use (PIU). Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published from their inception to 22 December 2023 were searched in Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Embase, Medline, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, China Science and Technology Journal Database, Chinese BioMedical Literature Database, and WanFang Data. We carried out a data analysis to compare the efficacy of various NPIs using Bayesian NMA.
