We present a case of arterial bypass for extensive stenosis of the ulnar artery and superficial palmar arch. The ulnar artery and the superficial palmar arch were bypassed using the great saphenous vein. Postoperatively, blood flow to the affected fingers gradually improved and the pain disappeared.

Background: An autologous arteriovenous fistula (AVF) provides an optimal and secure way for managing the condition. An optimal blood supply to hemodialysis is linked to decreased incidence of complications and mortality, as well as reduced expenses. The objective of this research was to evaluate the outcome of people with suboptimal superficial venous system quality or who had exhausted all available arteriovenous fistula options, who received either autologous saphenous vein graft or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) interposition graft as an access for effective hemodialysis.

Recently intermittent negative pressure has emerged as a potential treatment in vascular disease and has similarities with established experimental interventions such as lower body negative pressure. The direct, local influences of either method upon intravascular pressure still require some clarification however, particularly in the immediate moments following onset. Background: The treatment of nonsaphenous varicose veins (NSVV), including incompetent perforating veins (IPV) and recurrent varicose veins (RVV), remains challenging for many reasons, including vein tortuosity, deep location and short vein to be treated. Data and recommendations are lacking. Steam vein sclerosis (SVS) is an endothermal therapy that has been used in the treatment of incompetent saphenous veins, achieving occlusion rates similar to other thermal ablation techniques with good patient tolerance and minimal postoperative pain.
