The screening of chemical libraries is an essential starting point in the drug discovery process. While some researchers desire a more thorough screening of drug targets against a narrower scope of molecules, it is not uncommon for diverse screening sets to be favored during the early stages of drug discovery. However, a cost burden is associated with the screening of molecules, with potential drawbacks if particular areas of chemical space are needlessly overrepresented.

Objective: This study analyzed the trend, seasonal variations and forecasting of chronic respiratory disease morbidity in charcoal producing areas, northwest Ethiopia, aiming to provide evidences in planning, designing strategies, and decision-makings for preparedness and resource allocation to prevent CRD and reduce public health burden in the future.
Materials And Methods: The trend, seasonal variation, and forecasting for CRD were estimated using data collected from the three zones of Amhara region annual reports of DHIS2 records. Smoothing decomposition analysis was employed to demonstrate the trend and seasonal component of CRD.

Background: This investigation examines the worldwide impact of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) resulting from inadequate vegetable consumption, based on the 2021 Global Burden of Disease Study data.
Method: The study assessed the global, regional, and national repercussions of low vegetable intake on CVD, with a focus on variations among different age and gender demographics. It further analyzed the correlation between disease burden and the Socio-Demographic Index (SDI), and employed an ARIMA model to predict future trends in CVD associated with insufficient vegetable consumption up to 2050.

Background: This study aims to assess the global burden of Alzheimer's disease (AD) from 1990 to 2030, with a focus on incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life years (DALY).
Methods: Data on the incidence rates, DALY rates, and death rates of AD across various geographic populations from 1990 to 2021 were obtained from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2021 study. Generalized Additive Models (GAMs) were employed to forecast the disease burden from 2022 to 2030.
