The characteristics and current situation of pediatric neuropsychologists across Spanish-speaking countries was examined. A total of 409 self-identified professionals working in child neuropsychology from 12 Latin American countries and Spain completed an online survey between June and October 2018. Results revealed that pediatric neuropsychology as a related but distinct discipline within neuropsychology presents with a series of unique challenges to practitioners in Spanish-speaking countries. Efforts and initiatives are required to increase awareness of the field, define the core competencies, foster more opportunities for training, and conduct research to understand sociocultural characteristics and develop culturally specific tools.

Background: The International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) stands out for its utility and widespread use to measure sexual function in men. However, it lacks consistency in its internal latent structure across studies, has not been evaluated for measurement invariance, and has not undergone psychometric validation for its 15-item form in Spanish among South American countries.
Aim: To examine the IIEF's psychometric evidence (ie, structural/criterion validity and reliability) in a sample of adult men and determine its measurement invariance across relationship status (single vs in a relationship) and age generations (generations Z, Y/millennials, and X).

Given shifts to dimensional models of personality pathology and a growing consensus that personality disorder (PD) often onsets during adolescence, there is a need for validated measures of PD in adolescents. Level of Personality Functioning (LPF) is particularly relevant for the identification of emerging personality dysfunction in adolescents given its ability to capture developmental discontinuity as metacognitive capacities in self- and interpersonal-functioning emerge. However, no studies as of yet have validated a measure of LPF in a sample of Spanish-speaking adolescents.

Considering the implications of executive function (EF) in the core symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), further research is required on strategies such as therapies, treatments, and rehabilitation programs focused on improving EF. This study aimed to assess the potential of an EF training program called "Braingame Brian" in improving working memory, inhibition, and cognitive flexibility in children with ADHD. The programme was developed in the Netherlands and has been shown to be effective in pilot studies of ADHD populations conducted in this country.

We assessed the effects of the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks on the salience of moral words and phrases in the United States, Great Britain, and Spanish-speaking countries, focusing particularly on those phrases related to authority and loyalty. Our predictions were that the 9/11 attacks would increase the salience of authority phrases suggestive of disorder ("chaos", "disobedience", etc, labeled authority-vice) and decrease words and phrases suggestive of organization ("hierarchy", "obedient", etc: authority-virtue) in books published in the United States. Similarly, we anticipated that the salience of phrases consistent with fidelity to members of one's social group ("allegiance", "one for all", loyalty-virtue), would decrease, and those suggestive of social corrosion ("betrays", "back stabs", loyalty-vice) would increase.
