We report a rare case of salivary duct carcinoma and we study its clinical and evolutionary features. A 64-year-old patient was referred for right peripheral facial paralysis. MRI showed suspected formation of the right parotid gland. Treatment included total parotidectomy and ipsilateral neck lymph node dissection. The histology concluded to a ductal carcinoma of the parotid with lymph node metastasis. Radiation therapy has been indicated. Salivary duct carcinoma of the parotid gland is a highly aggressive and uncommon tumor. Treatment of localized forms is based on surgery and radiotherapy.

Purpose: To explore the effects of personalized oral stents in intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) treatment.
Methods: Totally 108 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated with IMRT at Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected. Using a random number table method, the patients were divided into experimental group (n=54) using personalized oral stents and control group (n=54) using simple mouthpieces.

Purpose: Microcystic adnexal carcinoma (MAC) is a locally aggressive adnexal carcinoma of the head and neck, which has a high tendency for recurrence. MAC rarely has distant metastasis, with only one previously reported case originating from the periorbital region. We present a patient with periorbital MAC with distant metastasis and a review of all reported patients with metastatic disease.

Neoadjuvant intraarterial cytoreductive chemotherapy (IACC) followed by multimodal therapy has achieved good locoregional control in adenoid cystic carcinoma of the lacrimal gland. We reviewed our experience with neoadjuvant IACC followed by multimodal therapy for CXPA of the lacrimal gland.

This study sought to comprehensively evaluate the diagnosis, therapeutic interventions, and outcomes of individuals afflicted with malignant parotid tumors at a tertiary care otolaryngology department in Heilbronn, Germany, spanning the years 2010-2018. The primary objective was to juxtapose this dataset with findings from analogous single and multicenter investigations. We conducted a meticulous analysis of electronic medical records pertaining to 45 patients subjected to primary parotid cancer treatment.
