and , two new species of (Lauraceae) from southwestern China (Yunnan Province) and northern Myanmar (Kachin State), are here described and illustrated based on both morphological and molecular evidence. They are morphologically similar to and phylogenetically closely related to and respectively. Their preliminary conservation status is also estimated according to the IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria.
