An aptasensor based on MIL-53(Al)@CdTe was designed for multiple determination of Hg and Pb by electrochemiluminescence (ECL). Upon the recognition of Hg, aptamer 2-AuNPs form hairpin structures and are removed from the electrode. While in the presence of Pb, aptamer 1-PtNPs capture the target ions and form G-quadruplexes, and then bring PtNPs close enough to CdTe QDs to produce ECL resonance energy transfer. Upon aptamer interaction with Hg and Pb, decreased ECL intensity was observed due to enhanced resonance energy transfer (ERET) and attenuated surface plasmon resonance (SPR). The ECL intensity difference (ΔECL) could therefore be used to detect heavy-metal ions with detection limits of 4.1 × 10 M (path 1, Hg), 3.7 × 10 M (path 2, Pb), and 2.4 × 10 M (path 3, Pb). The aptasensor could also be used for detecting Hg and Pb in fish and shrimp samples with good recoveries.

Objective: This retrospective cohort study aims to evaluate and compare different postoperative pain management strategies for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), in order to provide scientific evidence for clinical practice and decision-making.
Methods: A total of 274 ESCC patients who underwent surgery at the Affiliated Huai'an No. 1 People's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were included in the study.

Background: Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) uses positive pressure to assist people with respiratory muscle weakness or severe respiratory compromise to breathe. Most people use this treatment during sleep when breathing is most susceptible to instability. The benefits of using NIV in motor neurone disease (MND) are well-established.

Compulsory Isolation and Rehabilitation Center in Sichuan Province, Chengdu No. 2, Chengdu, China.
Objective: To study the heterogeneity and influencing factors of self-acceptance of drug addicts in compulsory isolation in 2 drug rehabilitation centers in Sichuan Province, and to analyze the effects of different types of self-acceptance on subthreshold depression in drug addicts, in order to provide useful references for improving their mental health.
Methods: Self-acceptance Questionnaire (SAQ), Drug use Stereotype Threat Scale(DSTS) and Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D) were used to conduct a questionnaire survey in January 2024 on 1068 drug addicts in two compulsory isolation drug rehabilitation centers in Sichuan Province.
Results: Drug addicts self-acceptance can be categorized into 5 potential categories; men were more likely than women to show lower self-acceptance in the 'low-low'(β = 0.

Background: Non-pharmacological dementia research products, such as social and behavioural interventions, are generated in traditional university settings. These often experience challenges to impact practices that they were developed for. The Netherlands established five specialized academic health science centres, referred to as Alzheimer Centres, to structurally coordinate and facilitate the utilization of dementia research knowledge.
