This study aimed to explore leukocyte telomere length (LTL) in the prediction of the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD). A total of 359 CAD patients who underwent coronary angiography were enrolled in this study. Severity of coronary artery was assessed by Gensini score (GS). LTL is negatively correlated with GS (Spearman's rank correlation coefficient = -0.335; p < 0.001). Multivariate logistic regression results showed that LTL was an independent predictor of high GS (p = 0.001). Area under the curve value of LTL for predicting high GS was 0.659 (p < 0.001). LTL could be considered as a potential predictor of the severity of coronary artery in patients with CAD.

Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a debilitating developmental disorder characterized by a variety of clinical manifestations. While benign tumors in the heart, lungs, kidney, and brain are all hallmarks of the disease, the most severe symptoms of TSC are often neurological, including seizures, autism, psychiatric disorders, and intellectual disabilities. TSC is caused by loss of function mutations in the TSC1 or TSC2 genes and consequent dysregulation of signaling via mechanistic Target of Rapamycin Complex 1 (mTORC1).

Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute vasculitis mainly seen in children, with a specific risk for coronary artery involvement. Atypical symptoms can sometimes result in missed diagnoses, delaying necessary treatment and increasing the chances of serious cardiovascular complications. We report a case of a six-month-old previously healthy girl who had not been vaccinated.

Anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery (AAOCA) comprises a set of rare congenital abnormalities in the origin or path of the coronary arteries with highly variable clinical implications. This is a pilot feasibility study where we investigated the influence of the anomalous coronary artery inlet architecture on coronary perfusion using coronary blood flow computational simulations to help predict the risk for coronary ischemia in patients with anomalous aortic origin of the right coronary artery (AAORCA) with these types of anomalous coronary artery inlet architectures. We developed a protocol for generating 3D models of patient coronary artery anatomies from an IRB-approved dataset of cardiac CT images of patients with AAORCA at our institution.

Background: Previous research has shown that Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is accompanied by severe impairments in cognitive and autonomic processes, which may linger even when mood symptoms recover. This study aimed to analyse the relationship between depression severity, as measured by the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAM-D), and how it affects heart rate variability (HRV) and cognitive function in patients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).
Methodology: The cross-sectional study was conducted at RUHS College of Medical Sciences and Associated Hospitals, Jaipur, from July 2022 to January 2023 on 90 subjects having major depressive disorder (MDD) of either sex in the 20-40 age group using the Hamilton score for depression (HAM D), Heart Rate Variability (HRV) measurements, and a battery of cognitive tests.

Introduction: Diabetic foot syndrome (DFS) a severe complication of diabetes which can result in ulcers, infections, or tissue damage in the feet.
Aim: To compare the treatment effectiveness in patients with DFS using local O therapy depending on the O concentration.
Material And Methods: The study included 50 patients, 24 male and 26 female ones, in the age range between 39 and 84 years, with DFS.
