Despite advances in multimodal cancer therapy, such as combining radical surgery with high-intensity chemoradiotherapy, for SMARCB1/INI-1-deficient sinonasal carcinoma (SDSC), the prognosis of patients remains poor. Immunotherapy is gaining increasing popularity as a novel treatment strategy for patients with SMARCB1/INI-1-deficient tumors. Herein, we report on the management of three patients with SDSC who received PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor therapy as a part of multimodal therapy based on surgery and chemoradiotherapy.

Despite being designated as "noncarcinogenic" human papillomavirus (HPV) types, mono-infection with HPV6 or HPV11 has been found in squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs) at specific sites, including the larynx, penis, anus, and rarely, the lower female genital tract. The association between clinicopathologic features, viral status, and the carcinogenic mechanisms related to these low-risk HPVs remains unclear. The current study characterizes a series of low-risk HPV6 and HPV11-associated SCCs of the uterine cervix (6 cases) and vulva (2 cases).

Coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA) analysis can help in the planning of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Fractional flow reserve derived from coronary CTA (FFR), coronary CTA-derived regional myocardial mass, and FFR virtual PCI planner can facilitate decisions concerning sheath and guide catheter selection, stent lengths on the basis of predicted post-PCI FFR, optimal fluoroscopic angles, evaluation of provisional vs 2-stent bifurcation PCI techniques, and assessment of the magnitude of jeopardized myocardial mass in cases with side branch compromise. This case series illustrates the emerging opportunities for coronary CTA-based planning of bifurcation PCI.

Echocardiography is a well-established tool for evaluating bioprosthetic valve performance after transcatheter aortic valve replacement. The presence of higher-than-expected echocardiographic gradients is not an uncommon finding and can be related to different clinical settings. This case series proposes a practical and multiparametric approach to interpreting high residual gradients after transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

Methotrexate (MTX) is commonly used to treat various autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and inflammatory bowel disease. In this case series, we present patients with MIAN, discussing their clinical features, diagnostic approaches, and management strategies.
