Ensuring the nonentanglement-breaking (non-EB) property of quantum channels is crucial for the effective distribution and storage of quantum states. However, a practical method for direct and accurate certification of the non-EB feature is highly desirable. Here, we propose and verify a realistic source based measurement device independent certification of non-EB channels. Our method is resilient to repercussions on the certification from experimental conditions, such as multiphotons and imperfect state preparation, and can be implemented with an information incomplete set. We achieve good agreement between experimental outcomes and theoretical predictions, which is validated by the expected results of the ideal semiquantum signaling game, and accurately certify the non-EB channels. Furthermore, our approach is highly robust to effects from noise. Therefore, the proposed approach can be expected to play a significant role in the design and evaluation of realistic quantum channels.

Free-standing capillary microfluidic channels were directly printed over printed electrodes using a particle/polymer mixture to fabricate microfluidic-electrochemical devices on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films. Printed devices with no electrode modification were demonstrated to have the lowest limit of detection (LOD) of 7 μM for sensing glucose. The study shows that both a low polymer concentration in the mixture for printing the microfluidic channels and surface modification of the printed microfluidic channels using 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane can substantially boost the device's performance.

Ion channels are protein structures that facilitate the selective passage of ions across the membrane cells of living organisms. They are known for their high conductance and high selectivity. The precise mechanism between these two seemingly contradicting features is not yet firmly established.

The high abundance of acetone ((CH)C═O), which makes it a good candidate for oxygenated molecules, and the high reactivity of oxygen atoms in the first excited state O(D) are two well-known facts in the chemistry of the atmosphere. In this research, we prove that the singlet oxygen and acetone system is capable of proceeding through multiwell multipath reactions, leading to the production of several organic aerosols. Hence, the nature of species released by the (CH)C═O + O(D) reaction to air can be clarified by profound attention to the possible routes.

Metasurface with natural static structure limits the development of dynamic metasurface holographic display with rapid response and broadband. Currently, liquid crystal (LC) was integrated onto the metasurface to convert the passive metasuface into an active one. But, majority of LC-assisted active metasurfaces often exhibit trade-offs among degree of freedom (DoF, typically less than 2), information capacity, response speed, and crosstalk.

Room-temperature cavity quantum electrodynamics with molecular materials in optical cavities offers exciting prospects for controlling electronic, nuclear and photonic degrees of freedom for applications in physics, chemistry and materials science. However, achieving strong coupling with molecular ensembles typically requires high molecular densities and substantial electromagnetic-field confinement. These conditions usually involve a significant degree of molecular disorder and a highly structured photonic density of states.
