This study evaluated the effects of a supervisory intervention on maintenance of appearance and organization in classrooms at a human services program for children and youths. The intervention combined performance feedback to classroom staff, public posting of performance outcomes, and eligibility for a performance-based incentive. Conducted in a multiple-baseline design, intervention was immediately and consistently effective in all classrooms. These findings support organizational behavior management applications within human services programs to improve performance that is related to environmental care.

In this work, twisted helical cellulose nanocrystals films with preprogrammed circular polarization and near-infrared reflectance are fabricated via a blade-based 3D printing method. The films are composed of stacked nanoscale slabs with high birefringence from unidirectionally organized cellulose nanocrystals. By changing the printing director, we achieved two types of films: twisted helical stacks and anisotropic Bragg stacks.

Background The aim of this study was to compare the clinical characteristics and clinical outcomes of patients who presented with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding (AUGIB) among two groups of patients who were transferred from local and district hospitals for endoscopy and subsequent management versus direct admissions to the emergency department with AUGIB to the Sheffield University Hospital NHS Trust. Methods We included 259 patients who underwent upper GI endoscopy from April 2018 to March 2022, of whom 29 were transferred and 230 were direct admissions. The analysis focused on demographics, pathological findings, time to endoscopy, blood transfusions, and hospital stay.

Elranatamab is an effective drug for triple-class-exposed relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (TCE-RRMM). In the pivotal study, only grade 1 or 2 immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS) were reported, and the risk factors for immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome have not yet been clearly elucidated. This case report documents the first case of grade 4 ICANS in a patient treated with elranatamab, presenting alongside grade 1 cytokine release syndrome (CRS).

Objectives: The purpose of this research was to assess the impact of exposure to heat on the physical, social, and mental health domains of adults residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where the region faces great increases in temperature due to climate change. Previous research has focused mainly on physical health outcomes; this research addressed the expansive impacts of mental and social health, which remain understudied in the region.
Methods: A cross-sectional study surveyed 397 adults in the UAE using a structured questionnaire.

Miller-Fisher syndrome (MFS) is characterized by the three major components of ophthalmoplegia, ataxia, and areflexia. The occurrence of MFS is relatively uncommon because of its monophasic nature, while recurrent Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a well-known condition. The pharyngeal-cervical-brachial (PCB) variant is a scarce variant of GBS (3%), which presents with muscle weakness initially involving the neck, oropharynx, and upper extremities.
