In this work various amount of phosphomolybdic acid (PMo) were immobilized on amine functionalized SBA-15 and used as heterogeneous catalysts in the epimerization of glucose in aqueous solution. 13.3PMo/NH-SBA-15 exhibited the best catalytic performance with a glucose conversion of 34.8% and mannose selectivity of 85.6% within two hours at 120 °C. The activation energy of 80.1 ± 0.1 kJ·mol was lower than that of 96 kJ·mol over the homogeneous HPMoO catalyst. The catalytic activities of 13.3PMo/NH-SBA-15 for the transformation of some other aldoses including mannose, arabinose and xylose were also investigated.

It is of great significance to develop sensors for trace pesticide residues detection in food. Herein, an electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensor with high sensitivity for the detection of methyl parathion (MP) was constructed by combining of the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzyme-inhibited reaction with tris-2,2'-bipyridyl ruthenium Ru(bpy) -triethylamine (TEA) system for the first time. A new ECL probe of MIL-100 loaded with Ru(bpy) (Ru-MIL-100) was synthesized, and then Ru-MIL-100 and AChE were immobilized on the electrode with Nafion.

Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI) has emerged as a versatile technique in affinity-based biosensing, analogous to Surface Plasmon Resonance. BLI enables real-time, label-free detection, and quantification of biomolecular interactions between an immobilized receptor and an analyte in solution. The BLI sensor comprises an optical fiber with an internal reference layer at the end and an external biocompatible layer where biological receptors are immobilized and exposed to the solution.

A novel carbon-based light-addressable potentiometric aptasensor (C-LAPS) was constructed for detection low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in serum. Carboxylated TiC MXene @reduced graphene oxide (C-MXene@rGO) was used as interface and o-phenylenediamine functionalized nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots (OPD@NGQDs) as the photoelectric conversion element. The photosensitive layers composed of OPD@NGQDs/C-MXene@rGO exhibit superior photoelectric conversion efficiency and excellent biocompatibility, which contribute to an improved response signal.

The direct discharge of cationic surfactants into environmental matrices has exponentially increased due to their wide application in many products. These compounds and their degraded products disrupt microbial dynamics, hinder plant survival, and affect human health. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop electroanalytical assessment techniques for their identification, determination, and monitoring.
