A 54-year-old female patient complained of right upper quadrant abdominal pain 11 years following a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. A CT scan demonstrated a collection in the surgical bed and a surgical clip in the proximal bile duct. Cholangitis developed a few days later. Another CT showed that the surgical clip migrated to the distal common bile duct. The clip was removed by endoscopic retrograde cholangiography and the cholangitis was resolved.

Introduction: The inability to sense force applied to tissue is suggested as a limitation to robotic-assisted surgery (RAS). This pre-clinical study evaluated the impact of a novel force feedback (FFB) technology, integrated on a next-generation robotic system that allows surgeons to sense forces exerted at the instrument tips, on suturing performance by novice surgeons during RAS.
Methods: Twenty-nine novice surgeons (< 50 RAS cases in the last 5 years) were randomized into two groups with (n = 15) or without (n = 14) FFB sensing.

Here we presented the initial experience of clipping aneurysms using fully endoscopic techniques and aimed to evaluate the safety and feasibility of fully endoscopic techniques for aneurysms. This was a retrospective single-center study in which patients were scheduled to undergo aneurysm clipping using fully endoscopic techniques.
