Introduction: Extrauterine recurrent metastasis of Low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (LG-ESS) to major blood vessels is largely rare with few reported cases.
Case: Herein, we present a case of a 51-year-old female with recurrent LG-ESS that has metastasized after 12 years to the inferior vena cava (IVC) and extended into the right atrium and common iliac veins. Computed tomography showed an intracardiac larger thrombus within the right atrium extending into the inferior vena cava and common iliac veins.

Background: Colon cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers worldwide. The study aimed to identify the risk factors of death from heart disease in the elderly colon cancer patients with liver metastasis.
Methods: All data of the retrospective study were retrieved from database of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results between 2000 and 2020.

Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a conserved cellular process critical for embryogenesis, wound healing, and cancer metastasis. During EMT, cells undergo large-scale metabolic reprogramming that supports multiple functional phenotypes including migration, invasion, survival, chemo-resistance and stemness. However, the extent of metabolic network rewiring during EMT is unclear.

Multicellular spheroids embedded in 3D hydrogels are prominent in vitro models for 3D cell invasion. Yet, quantification methods for spheroid cell invasion that are high-throughput, objective and accessible are still lacking. Variations in spheroid sizes and the shapes of the cells within render it difficult to objectively assess invasion extent.

The prevalence of breast cancer (BRCA) is notable in the female population, being a commonly diagnosed malignancy, where the management of copper levels is crucial for treatment success. This research aims to explore the influence of copper homeostasis on BRCA therapy, with a specific focus on the role of Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 1 (CDK1) and its relationship to copper regulation. A novel thermosensitive hydrogel incorporating nanoparticles (NPs) was engineered to synergize with the chemotherapy drug vincristine (VCR) in inhibiting tumor growth and metastasis.
