Stent-induced ductal change is a complication of endoscopic treatment of the main pancreatic duct in chronic pancreatitis. Most previous reports have been based on morphological duct changes observed via pancreatography. Granular cell tumors (GCTs) of the gastrointestinal tract are rare neoplasms often detected incidentally as subepithelial lesions during endoscopic examination. The occurrence of GCTs in the gastric cavity is even rarer. So far, there have been only four reports of multifocal gastric GCTs.

Cystic basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is a rare subtype of BCC (1). Histologically, it is usually characterized by multiple small cysts without a clinical cystic appearance (2). Herein, we report an unusual case of cystic BCC with a large vulvar cyst.

Purpose: Atovaquone is an alternative drug that is used for the prevention and treatment of pneumonia when the first-line drug, sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim (ST combination), cannot be used due to side effects. However, atovaquone is known to cause ocular side effects including oculomucocutaneous syndrome and vortex keratopathy. In this report, we describe a patient who developed bilateral white granular diffuse corneal opacity that extended from the corneal sub-epithelium to the stroma after continuous oral atovaquone administration for 14 months.

Granular cell tumors are rare neoplasms originating from Schwann cells found in various organs. GCTs are seldom reported in the gastrointestinal tract. Pre-operative detection and diagnosis of colonic GCTs is challenging since the tumors are mainly asymptomatic, small, slow-growing, and submucosal.
