Correlation of heart rate (HR) and conditioned motor reaction (CMR) was studied in dogs with conditioned avoidance reflex by the V. P. Petropavlovskiĭ method. An increase of HR was shown in response to presentation of conditioned sound stimulus reaching maximum directly before CMR beginning. Immediately after the beginning of CMR and further against the background of continuous keeping of the paw in the safety zone, CMR greatly decreases. The CMR changes testify to a heavy weakening of classical conditioned reflex of fear as a result of kinesthetic afferentation signalling about successful keeping of the paw in the safety zone.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Prinsepiautilis (PU) Royle, native to the Himalayan region, is a deciduous thorny shrub with numerous traditional uses of its roots, leaves and seeds for treatment of conditions such as rheumatic pain, joint pain, arthritis, and inflammation.
Aim Of The Study: Keeping in mind the growing demand of products of natural origin as alternate medicine, the present study was undertaken to scientifically validate for the first time the traditional claims of healing pain and inflammation by evaluating the fatty oil isolated from the seeds using established in vitro and in vivo models.

Blueberry is a class of berries with high nutritional and economic value but has short shelf life due to its rapid softening at room temperature. This study investigated the effects of plasma-activated water (PAW) treatment on the softening quality and cell wall pectin metabolism of blueberries stored for 10 d at 25 °C after being immersed in PAW for 10 min. We presented a low-cost, eco-friendly, and efficient bacterium-mediated synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) utilizing Paraclostridium benzoelyticum strain 5610 as a capping and reducing agent. Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray, and UV-vis spectroscopy were used to physiochemically characterize the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs. A major narrow peak at 441 nm was observed using UV-visible spectroscopy, verifying the presence of nanoparticles.
