Objectives: Routine monitoring of renal and hepatic function during chemotherapy ensures that treatment-related organ damage has not occurred and clearance of subsequent treatment is not hindered; however, frequency and timing are not optimal. Model bias and data heterogeneity concerns have hampered the ability of machine learning (ML) to be deployed into clinical practice. This study aims to develop models that could support individualised decisions on the timing of renal and hepatic monitoring while exploring the effect of data shift on model performance.

Through a case study of the Feminicídio Law in Brazil, I examine feminist writings on , following its state incorporation as a criminal category, to address the killing of women based on gendered reasons. Drawing on materialist feminist discourse analysis, I challenge the notion that institutionalization necessarily leads to depoliticization.

Background: Sexual and reproductive health issues in adolescents living with HIV (ALHIV) have been left behind in HIV care programs. ALHIV are at risk of unintended pregnancy which jeopardizes their socio-economic future, health outcomes and exposes their newborn to HIV transmission. Importance: Rising prescription medication costs under Medicaid have led to increased procedural prescription denials by health plans. The effect of unresolved denials on chronic condition exacerbation and subsequent acute care utilization remains unclear.
Objective: To examine whether procedural prescription denials are associated with increased net spending through downstream acute care utilization among Medicaid patients not obtaining prescribed medication following a denial.
A quality improvement initiative aimed at reducing service strain and improving physician wellness in internal medicine.

To address rising service demands, a non-academic hospitalist service was implemented to reduce daily clinical teaching unit (CTU) census by approximately 30%.
