BACKGROUND Endometriosis is a condition where uterine lining tissue grows outside the uterine cavity, commonly on the ovaries and pelvic peritoneum, but can also occur in rare locations such as the cervix, lungs or pleura. Cervical endometriosis is typically diagnosed retrospectively through post-surgical pathology as it was in this case. This article presents a case of cervical endometriosis with recurrent vaginal bleeding, reviews recent literature to aid in clinical diagnosis and treatment.

This article discusses a recently published case report on a rare instance of type IV appendiceal intussusception with a concurrent mucinous adenocarcinoma of the cecum in a young individual. The report highlights challenges in diagnosing appendiceal intussusception, emphasizing the importance of endoscopic expertise in preventing impulsive decisions such as inappropriate polypectomies. The rarity of the concurrent intussuscepted appendix and mucinous cecal cancer is underscored, prompting consideration of malignancy in appendiceal intussusception cases.

Background: Nasal trauma presents a risk of foreign body invasion into the nasal cavity. However, in the early treatment stage of nasal trauma, patients and doctors are not always aware of possible foreign body invasion, resulting in delayed detection. We describe the case of an adult patient admitted to the hospital due to left nasal congestion accompanied by yellow, purulent, and bloody discharge.
