Background: Warm needle acupuncture (WNA) is an integral part of the acupuncture therapy. Chronic renal failure (CRF) is a common disease, which is a type of kidney disease characterized by a slow and progressive decline in renal function. The clinical practice indicates that WNA has a therapeutic effect on CRF. Therefore, we will provide a protocol to explore the effectiveness and safety of WNA for CRF.
Methods: We will search the randomized controlled trials literatures of WNA for CRF in 5 English databases (PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials [Cochrane Library], and World Health Organization International Clinical Trials Registry Platform) and 4 Chinese databases (Chinese national knowledge infrastructure, Chinese Scientific Journal Database Information, Wanfang Database, and Chinese biomedical literature database). The renal function will be considered as the primary outcome and the secondary outcome will include curative effect, security, syndrome according to standards for assessing traditional Chinese medicine, adverse events caused by WNA, such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, weariness, and so on. We will use EndnoteX7 software to perform the selection of the studies. And all analyses will be conducted by using RevMan software V5.3.
Result: This study will provide a rational synthesis of current evidences for WNM on CRF.
Conclusion: The conclusion of this study will provide evidence to judge the effectiveness and safety of WNA on CRF.Registration: PROS-PERO CRD42019144530.

Background: Low back pain (LBP) is highly prevalent and disabling, especially in agriculture sectors. However, there is a gap in LBP prevention and intervention studies in these physically demanding occupations, and to date, no studies have focused on horticulture workers. Given the challenges of implementing interventions for those working in small businesses, self-management offers an attractive and feasible option to address work-related risk factors and manage LBP.

Background: Heart failure (HF) is a chronic, progressive condition where the heart cannot pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. In addition to the daily challenges that HF poses, acute exacerbations can lead to costly hospitalizations and increased mortality. High health care costs and the burden of HF have led to the emerging application of new technologies to support people living with HF to stay well while living in the community.

Background: Health authorities worldwide have invested in digital technologies to establish robust information exchange systems for improving the safety and efficiency of medication management. Nevertheless, inaccurate medication lists and information gaps are common, particularly during care transitions, leading to avoidable harm, inefficiencies, and increased costs. Besides fragmented health care processes, the inconsistent incorporation of patient-driven changes contributes to these problems.

: The impact of shoe stiffness on running biomechanics is well-documented, while the specific effect on the performance of biomechanically distinct groups such as novice runners and experienced runners is still largely unexplored. The study aimed to evaluate the biomechanical effect of different shoe longitudinal bending stiffness on the lower limb during running in novice runners and experienced runners. : Twelve experienced runners and ten novice runners ran at a speed of 4.

Background: Severe alcohol-associated hepatitis (AH) is rising in incidence with a high mortality burden. While corticosteroids are recommended for eligible patients with severe AH, no guidance exists for the timing of steroid initiation, tapering regimens, and surveillance of adverse events.
Objective: We aim to systematically review these variables and provide evidence-based recommendations for the inpatient and outpatient management of severe AH.
