While the incidence of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection is decreasing in most age groups worldwide, it is rising among adolescents and young adults, who also face a higher rate of HIV-related deaths. This tech-savvy demographic may benefit from an online patient portal designed to enhance patient activation-empowering them to manage their health independently. However, the effectiveness of such digital health interventions on young HIV patients in Kenya remains uncertain.

Background: Dentin hypersensitivity affects a significant portion of the world's population, causing pain and negatively impacting oral health and quality of life This clinical study investigated the effectiveness of a desensitizing fluoride silicon-rich dental gel associated with a calcium booster.
Material And Methods: In this single-blind, randomized, parallel-group clinical trial, forty-eight volunteers diagnosed with dentin hypersensitivity and qualified to participate were randomized into 2 groups: (1) fluoride silicon-rich dental gel (REFX Technology)/calcium booster (Si/Ca protocol); (2) Pumice stone diluted in saline. A draw was carried out between the right and left sides of the patients so that either a prophylaxis with the dental gel associated with calcium or with fine pumice stone diluted in saline was carried out.

Background: Acromiohumeral interval (AHI) reversibility is used to evaluate whether superior humeral migration is fixed or flexible in patients with massive rotator cuff tears (MRCTs). AHI reversibility is measured as the difference in the AHI observed between standard and stress radiography. However, factors affecting AHI reversibility have not been studied in the existing literature.

Background: Previous studies have demonstrated that lateral meniscal allograft transplantation (MAT) through medial arthrotomy showed less extrusion than that of the lateral arthrotomy. However, there is a paucity of literature reporting clinical and radiological outcomes after lateral MAT through the medial arthrotomy.
Hypothesis: Lateral MAT through a medial arthrotomy would show significantly improved clinical scores and minimal joint space narrowing compared with preoperative status.
