Hepaticogastrostomy (HGS) has been reported for the management of palliative malignant hilar stricture and involves draining the left liver as rescue therapy. For the management of this complex stenosis, another new option for draining the right liver under EUS guidance was introduced. Ten publications involving 38 patients have been reported in the literature, in which the following two main techniques have been described: direct puncture of the right liver from the bulbus and the bridge technique allowing the drainage of the right liver across the left liver through HGS. In this review, we describe the techniques used and the potential advantages and complications of these procedures. Although this kind of drainage is demanding and probably limited to specific patients, EUS-biliary drainage of the right liver seems feasible with acceptable complications.

Breast cancer lymphoscintigraphy is a crucial tool in pre-operative assessment, typically revealing sentinel lymph node drainage patterns within axillary and extra-axillary regions. However, rare cases challenge conventional understanding. We report a 67-year-old woman with breast cancer, where lymphoscintigraphy revealed focal uptake within the falciform ligament of the liver, an exceedingly rare phenomenon.

Introduction: There is a risk of iatrogenic vascular injuries during robotic-assisted laparoscopic excision of diaphragmatic endometriosis. Although studies are limited, the first reported case of a suprahepatic inferior vena cava (IVC) injury during robotic diaphragmatic endometriosis excision was successfully treated using a fibrin sealant patch, preventing exsanguination and conversion to laparotomy.
Case Description: A 36-year-old female with a history of recurrent catamenial pneumothorax and two prior video-assisted thoracoscopic surgeries to treat diaphragmatic endometriosis presented to our clinic with right-sided shoulder pain and a chest tube in place.

A 53-year-old woman presented to the surgical emergency with complaints of high-grade fever accompanied by chills for 15 days and pain in the right upper abdomen for 10 days. X-ray of the abdomen and chest X-ray revealed free gas under the right hemidiaphragm. As there were no signs of generalised or localised peritonitis, emergency laparotomy was postponed.

Malignant obstructive jaundice (MOJ) encompasses a range of diseases stemming from malignant tumors such as cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and primary liver cancer, among others, which cause obstruction in both intra- and extra-hepatic bile ducts. This obstruction may lead to elevated bilirubin levels, hepatic function impairment, and a low rate of successful surgical resection in clinical settings. There are various minimally invasive treatment options for MOJ, including endoscopic biliary drainage, ultrasound-guided procedures, and percutaneous biliary tract puncture drainage.
