Aim: Most studies of prepubertal weight and puberty have not used continuous or long follow-up periods. We explored the effect that birth weight and growth trajectories from 0-9 years of age had on starting puberty.
Methods: Data were obtained from 1510 children in Tianjin, China, who were born in 2013 and selected by cluster random sampling.

Different app features may support effectiveness, including gamification defined as the use of game elements in a non-game situation. Objectives: This study was designed to characterize the prevalence, pattern of herbal use, and related factors among diabetic patients in Tabriz, Iran.
Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out on 322 diabetic patients with random cluster sampling of specialized and subspecialized clinics in Tabriz, Iran. Binary logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate the association between predictor variables (sociodemographic and disease-related characteristics and patient preference for treatment type) with herb use Interviews were conducted using a structured questionnaire from October 1, 2022, to April 23, 2023.

However, generation Z nursing students, who primarily communicate through digital platforms, face unique challenges in adapting to traditional face-to-face communication with older adults. View Article and Find Full Text PDFTo determine if the use of theory, data and end-user perspectives to guide an adaptation of the Transdiagnostic Intervention for Sleep and Circadian Dysfunction (TranS-C) yields better outcomes and improves the "fit" of TranS-C to community mental health centers (CMHCs), relative to the standard version. Ten counties in California were cluster-randomized by county to Adapted or Standard TranS-C. Within each county, adults who exhibited sleep and circadian dysfunction and serious mental illness (SMI) were randomized to immediate TranS-C or Usual Care followed by Delayed Treatment with TranS-C (UC-DT).
