Introduction: Studies have consistently demonstrated a strong link between cigarette smoking and an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases (CVD). On the other hand, studies have shown that most smokers do not have a real understanding of the cardiovascular health hazards of smoking. Therefore, the study aimed to determine the perceived risk of Myocardial Infarction (MI), Hypertension (HTN), and Stroke among current smokers in Iran.

Sarcopenia, a syndrome characterized by declining muscle mass and function, is associated with various adverse health outcomes. While body mass index (BMI) is a fundamental health indicator, its relationship with sarcopenia is complex and remains inadequately explored. Low BMI has been linked to muscle loss, but the role of other demographic and clinical factors in this relationship is unclear.

Chronic fatigue syndrome or myalgic encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME) is a medical condition characterized by severe and prolonged fatigue that is not relieved by rest or attributed to any underlying medical or psychological condition. Individuals with CFS/ME are considered to have an increased risk of a wide range of comorbid conditions, including cardiovascular disease (CVD). The association between CFS/ME and CVD is not fully understood.

Background: Cannabis vaping, and co-use with cannabis smoking, can exacerbate the risks of developing respiratory diseases and cannabis dependence. This study aims to examine the mental health profiles and sociodemographic correlates of adults who vape cannabis and engage in dual cannabis use (vaping/ smoking), compared to those who smoke cannabis.
Methods: The most recent, cross-sectional wave of the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health Study (Wave 6) was used in this study.

Introduction: Post-COVID-19 syndrome refers to the occurrence of symptoms lasting more than 4 weeks in individuals who have recovered from COVID-19. This study aims to investigate the post-COVID-19 symptoms in healthcare professionals.
Methodology: This descriptive study included 166 healthcare professionals who had tested positive for COVID-19 via PCR at least four weeks prior and subsequently presented to the Family Medicine Clinic at Pamukkale University Training and Research Hospital.
