Ruthenium(II) alkylidene complexes such as the Grubbs' 1st and 2nd generation catalysts undergo a ligand substitution with 2,2'-bipyridine, which readily leads to the common photoredox catalyst Ru(bpy) . The application of this catalyst transformation in sequential olefin metathesis/photoredox catalysis is demonstrated by way of ring-closing metathesis (RCM)/photoredox ATRA reactions.

The mechanistic understanding of how alkylamines impact Ni-metallophotoredox C-N coupling to form diarylamines remains unclear. In this study, 12-alkylamines were evaluated as additives to determine their effects on the synthesis of diarylamines in a flow photochemical system. Notably, -hexylamine demonstrated the most significant promotional effect.

From synthesis to application, there are always certain interactions between the polar solvents and perovskite nanocrystals (NCs). To explain the effect of solvent polarity especially on the photoluminescence (PL) properties of NCs is highly desirable, especially for sensing applications. Herein We have synthesized the methylammonium lead mixed halides (MAPbClBr, where n = 0, 0.

Chiral allyl amines are important structural components in natural products, pharmaceuticals, and chiral catalysts. Herein, we report a cobalt-catalyzed enantioselective reductive coupling of imines with internal alkynes to synthesize chiral allyl amines. The reaction is catalyzed by a cobalt complex derived from commercially available bisphosphine ligand utilizing zinc as the electron donor.
