Measurements of the heat capacity of ammonium pentaborate tetrahydrate (NHBO·4HO), potassium pentaborate tetrahydrate (KBO·4HO), and sodium pentaborate pentahydrate (NaBO·5HO) were made in the range of about 15 to 370 °K and the data were used to obtain a table of smoothed values of thermodynamic functions from 0 to 370 °K. The measurements on sodium pentaborate pentahydrate were terminated at 345 °K because the temperature drifts that were observed above this temperature were considered to arise from gradual volatilization of the water of hydration.

Background: Many patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) are not on guideline-recommended statin therapy. We evaluated utilization of statins and other lipid-lowering therapy (LLT), and changes in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), among patients with ASCVD over a 1-year period.
Methods: LLT and LDL-C levels at the first outpatient visit (January 1, 2017-December 31, 2018) and 1-year follow-up were evaluated using data from Cerner Real-World Data, an electronic health record-derived data set from 92 US health systems.

UKALL14 was a UK National Cancer Research Institute Adult ALL group study that aimed to determine the benefit of adding the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, rituximab, to the therapy of adults with de novo B-precursor acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Methods: This was an investigator-initiated, phase 3, randomised controlled trial done in all UK National Health Service Centres treating patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (65 centres).
