The objective of work was to study experimentally gunshot damages on fabric targets caused by ricocheted 'Poleva 2' bullets (12/70) fired from a smooth-bore hunting gun. An ultraconcrete plate fixed in a special uniquely designed installation was used as a barrier. During the experiments, the authors changed the angle of incidence between the bullet and the barrier, as well as the distance between the barrier and the target. The authors have determined relationships of the formation and objective signs of gunshot damages dependent upon the parameters and conditions of firing shorts.

Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) are networks of decondensed chromatin, histones, and antimicrobial proteins released by neutrophils in response to an infection. NET overproduction can cause an exacerbated hyperinflammatory response in a variety of diseases and can lead to host tissue damage without clearance of infection. Nanoparticle drug delivery is a promising avenue for creating materials that can both target NETs and deliver sustained amounts of NET-degrading drugs to alleviate hyperinflammation.

The pathophysiological relationship between wound healing impairment and diabetes is an intricate process. Burn injury among diabetes patients leads to neurological, vascular, and immunological abnormalities along with impaired activities of cell proliferation, collagen production, growth factors, and cytokine activities with huge bacterial infestation. In our study, we aimed to achieve a burn wound dressing material with the help of electrospun Chitosan/Polyethylene oxide/Rosmarinic acid (CS/PEO/RA) nanofibers.

As smart electronic devices proliferate rapidly, concerns about electromagnetic radiation have become more prominent. Traditional electromagnetic shielding materials typically use three-dimensional porous foams, carbon structures, and film materials as their substrates. However, as electronic devices become more miniaturized, integrated, and precise, the large volume and limited functionality of foam materials have constrained their applications.

Aniline Blue is a synthetic dye extensively used in various industries, including textiles, plastics, and biological research due to its effective staining properties. However, its environmental and health impacts, particularly its neurotoxic effects, are poorly understood. While the dye has been associated with carcinogenicity and organ toxicity, the neurobehavioral consequences of Aniline Blue exposure remain underexplored.
