It is believed that aneuploid embryos release cell-free DNA (cfDNA) into the blastocyst cavity during the self-correction process through the apoptotic mechanism. This study aimed to develop less invasive methods for predicting ploidy status by investigating how ploidy status affects blastocoel fluid DNA (BF-DNA) levels and apoptotic gene expression as indicators of embryo viability. Human blastocysts were classified into three groups; Survivable Embryo (SE), Fatal Single and double Aneuploidy (FSDA), and Multiple Aneuploidy (MA) using array comparative genomic hybridization (array-CGH) by trophectoderm (TE) biopsy.

Recent advancements in deep learning have significantly improved medical image segmentation. However, the generalization performance and potential risks of data-driven models remain insufficiently validated. Specifically, unrealistic segmentation predictions deviating from actual anatomical structures, known as a Seg-Hallucination, often occur in deep learning-based models.

Resonance frequency (RF) is characterized as the specific frequency at which a system, equipped with delayed self-correction or negative feedback mechanisms, exhibits maximal amplitude oscillations in response to an external stimulus of a particular frequency. Emerging evidence suggests that the cardiovascular system has an inherent RF, and that breathing at this frequency can markedly enhance health and cardiovascular function. However, the efficacy of resonance frequency breathing (RFB) and the specific responses of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and central nervous systems during RFB remain unclear.

sp-carbon-linked covalent organic frameworks (spc-COFs) are crystalline porous polymers with repeat organic units linked by sp carbons, and have attracted increasing interest due to their robust skeleton and tunable semiconducting properties. Single-crystalline spc-COFs with well-defined structures can represent an ideal platform for investigating fundamental physics properties and device performance. However, the robust olefin bonds inhibit the reversible-reaction-based crystal self-correction, thus yielding polycrystalline or amorphous polymers.

Background: Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) stands as the predominant spinal deformity in adolescents, manifesting symptoms including back pain, functional limitations, cosmetic worries, and respiratory dysfunction. At present, six approaches of scoliosis-specific exercises are globally practiced, encompassing Schroth exercise, the Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis (SEAS), the Dobomed, the side shift exercise, active self-correction, and the Functional Individual Therapy of Scoliosis (FITS). However, there is no systematic review and meta-analysis comparing the efficacy of these six types of scoliosis-specific exercises on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
